Better figure out the PP and PK in a  hurry.
PK was fine tonight. Sammy screwed the pooch on the Debrusk goal and the other was an empty netter.
PP was better but still need results. Bert being the primary shooter isn't going to do it.
I don't care about the last goal. Meaningless.

The other one was not all on Sammy. DeBrusk was all alone in front.
Marchand's shot hit his glove...how about catch the puck and the play is dead...

Nobody gives the puck away like Marner does.  Noooooobody.

High risk high reward. To be fair his giveaways standout yes but his jaw dropping passes etc thankfully outnumber them

I don?t disagree, but Herman?s 1:14 ratio s about right, at least tonight he was an absolute momentum killer tonight, especially in the third.

He made a few nice plays including the pass to Knies, but overall doesn't look much like a $12 million player. I'm willing to give some benefit of the doubt as he may still be hampered by that ankle but...Willie come back!

Lower body injury recovery, but extremely weak on his stick all night. Singlehandedly killed most of our power play time.

This was exactly the expected outcome

I didn't see the 2nd but I don't agree blaming the refs.  Their first pp was OK but the others were awful.

And it isn't helping that Marner isn't 100% and Nylander and McMann are currently 0%.  We need more o-punch.

That and they have zero home ice advantage.  They have been crap at home all year.
Scotiabank arena is hardly a tough building to play in as a visitor. Maddening.

A pet peeve of mine is their stupid game presentation.  With under 2:00 to go and a stoppage, with the Leafs pressing to tie, they strike up one of those stale organ bits.  It's like they want to kill of any possible excitement.

He's a great regular season player. Like I said if he wants a raise play hardball and tell him to waive and ship his as8 out and if he doesn't then he can walk after next season. Time management figures it out.

Two Boston goals came directly from refs deciding to manage the game. The rest was self inflicted by someone hanging onto the puck until he gave it away.

Apparently not for him.

Never been to a Raptor game but I hear it's night and day. Don't understand how they can't make it a tougher, noisier place to play.

But we were one Robertson shot away from tying it up even swimming uphill. Would?ve been nice to bury there, but good to see Swayman couldn?t control it.

Disagree. Bert and JT had some beauty passes to no one as well.

I would use 89 in the high slot ala Reinhart on PP1

I hate to say this. Because I really wanted them to just crush Boston in as little games as possible. I want Marchand to cry. Not because Bergeron played his last game, but because he got embarrassed. But if we?re going to win this series. It has to be in game 7 in their building. The Gods (and refs) have decreed this.

That's the way it's going to be!

I still think it was a big mistake not giving Woll more games after his return from injury. His calm in the crease is much needed. Samsonov seems to not handle pressure. A couple of the goals against tonight never should have gone in. Fredric's in particular

Wolls not ready after his injury. Special teams and a bad goal killed us as bad as the reffing was.

You guys are overthinking this.

Boston was always going to have the edge in the series because they have better goaltending.

One of our top offensive players is less than 100% with an injury that directly hampers his skating.

One of our emerging offensive players is out entirely.

One of our other top offensive players is out entirely.

Boston has lost one of their d-men but it's a lesser loss to the team.

Overall, clear advantage Boston and it's an uphill battle for us that's compounded by a maddeningly anemic PP.

Right now to me it looks like Swayman is the difference.
