R1, G4: Bruins @ Maple Leafs - Apr. 27th, 8:00pm - SN, 680 News

At least they showed some life in the third. Too little, too late, but, they didn?t completely roll over, I guess.

Yet another embarrassing loss. They can't seem to win at home in the playoffs. One more in Boston, and we will see if there are any more after that. I am not confident, but they played decently in Boston, so who knows.

There?s too much talent on this roster to not be able to score more than 2 a game as frequently as this team struggles to.

The lack of any threat from the D is killing them.  Edmundson wasn't hired to score but none of them can.  I think Rielly has been awful in the time that I've been watching him.

we lead the league in moral victories

Maybe they should come out with the mindset that they're down 3-0 in the third period, at the _start_ of the next game. You know, instead of waiting until they actually _are_ down 3-0 in the third period.

Look, this just another inexcusable playoff performance.  Why Treliving burned another year with Keefe is beyond me.  He hasn't shown the slightest indication of outcoaching the other guy in the playoffs.  I swear, it's almost enough to make you want Babcock back.

I'll say this, Lyubushkin had a very good game.  He looked dangerous at least 3 times that I noticed on offense.  Too bad he doesn't have the skill to make it count.

They?ve needed more mobility and puck skills from the backend for years. That needs to be one of the top focuses this off season.

I don't think either Nylander or Marner can be traded for anything to free up their cap hits
One more year of Tavares and Marner, but hopefully with a new coach. Never know, maybe there is someone out there who can push some different buttons. Then the Tavares money goes away and who knows about Marner, maybe he also goes away and they have an additional $11 or $20+ million to build around Matthews and Nylander.

Or maybe they win 3 straight and take this series!

I totally agree but everyone wanted more tough guys and all that crap. Problem is, they don't have any good puck movers or goal scorers. And it goes with the PP as well, no shot from the point and it's easier to defend. I don't think 44 has been terrible but like I said earlier, his offensive side hasn't been good. It's like he forgot how to pass

We just got to win the next 3 games (2 of them in Boston).  No problem ??
Maybe they can petition to have all 3 games in Boston. That would probably increase their chances.
