Say what you will about Nylander's play tonight, but he drew that penalty and ended up being in on 3 of the 4 comeback goals.

34-88
91-16
from here on out

i dont care if they win the cup this year or not, I just want to see the 4th win in the playoffs (i will take it as a stanley cup win lol)

Like the team, he awoke from slumber when it counted most.

All it took was to swap the lines so Marner and Matthews aren't together. Still puzzles me why they take so long to do it and then after a while go back to it for no reason. The entire team was immediately better.

I strongly suspect that Matthews is the one demanding it. (He's always in interviews about how he "likes" certain linemates more, look at how he talked about being paired with Jarnkrok late in the season. It reads between the lines as him being picky about who he plays with. But hopefully winning specifically these types of comebacks will start to change his mind ? or else maybe O'Reilly can talk him out of it for good.)

Dear Hockey Gods,

I don't exactly really totally believe you ARE some kind of true Gods but if you can overlook that bit of skepticism and are so inclined I would be very much obliged to have you anoint Auston Matthews for the OT winner that kicks-starts him to a Conn.

Please?

Kerfoot works, and I BELIEVE NOW

Sometimes the obvious move is, you know, the right one.

If they come out guns a-blazing at home, I'm not sure TB will be able to withstand it.  They are totally inside Vasilevskiy's head.
Lalonde just mentioned that Vasi doesn't see picks well from the point. Said we had to adjust our D play to help him..Leafs have exploited it.
Really enjoying Lalonde?s insider info but it also feels kind of gross. Should he be sharing everything? This guys employed by Detroit, isn?t there any sort of professional code about this sort of thing?

I'm ok with it

With the 3rd wingers being Kerfoot and Jarnkrok I feel like there is ample opportunity double shift Marner/Matthews here and there and get them together.

Willy absolutely sucked for 2 periods. Horrible penalty and play on the 2nd goal. But in the third and OT, you gotta give it to him. The guy is a difference maker and he got his shit going. He's so frustrating at times because we all know just how good he is. Great to see 88 back on it!

He's not giving away any secrets. He's giving us an inside view to how things work and certain systems they employed when he was in TBay. I actually enjoy listening to him.

SI, I'm huggin' you man.  I felt just the way you did after they went down 4-1.  The ups and downs....

And that Ladies and Gentlemen, is how you do a reverse jinx (god I hope I didn't just screw it up).
