If they come out guns a-blazing at home, I'm not sure TB will be able to withstand it.  They are totally inside Vasilevskiy's head.
Lalonde just mentioned that Vasi doesn't see picks well from the point. Said we had to adjust our D play to help him..Leafs have exploited it.
Really enjoying Lalonde?s insider info but it also feels kind of gross. Should he be sharing everything? This guys employed by Detroit, isn?t there any sort of professional code about this sort of thing?

I'm ok with it

I highly doubt this isn't already out there.

Another thing that's easily overlooked in all this "it was 4-1" and "Kerfoot in OT" and "Knies is 6-0" and "Playoff Rielly" becoming a thing is that Matthews put this team on his back in the third. Back-to-back gamebreaking goals.

He's never scored two goals in a playoff game that I can rememember: Not against Tampa, not against Montreal, not against Boston. And to do it entirely on-demand tonight because it became do-or-die... is that the killer instinct we've all been waiting for?

I suppose we'll find out on Thursday once and for all; it's also worth mentioning that excluding G2 (which was already well out of reach by period 2) Matthews at 5v5 has allowed only a single goal-against all series.

And as an aside, I hope someone is checking on joe bowen, lol

And for a measly 10k he would have been in the building
If the Leafs move on to the 2nd round they need to ship Joe and Jim on the road games, they miss so much doing by TV, some on ice stuff that they are really good to call gets a tv replay on the way.
Anyway, they are the best and should be back on TV.
and thanks for @LeafsJellyHD for compiling this, this is great stuff.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading through this thread with hindsight of the result.

I was going to quote some of the early comments for the lols, but actually all it shows is the fun and emotion of following a sports team.

He scored two in Game 1 of the series against Tampa last season.

Super happy I shut the TV off after the 2nd period and went to bed.
I've never turned a game off except maybe a few minutes left in a blowout. Sucker for punishment maybe but I always have hope they can come back.

Very rare occurrence for me but we have a nasty flu/cold bug going through the house and couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.

That's different for sure. Hope all are healthy soon.

I totally went to bed with 12 mins to go in the third.

Seriously.

Woke up to some texts from friends.  F me.

I stopped watching in the 2nd intermission. Roughly saw the comeback happening through social media but decided I needed to tough it out and accept the team was playing better simply because I wasn't watching. In OT I recreated the exact conditions I watched the last overtime in and the Leafs came through. So, you're welcome all.

Same for me, I've had this wicked cough I can't shake and it keeps me up at night.  Slowly getting better but I'm in rough energy shape at night.

Is hilarious that  fans have superstitions too. I wear the same Leafs hoodie until they lose a game and I don't shave the beard until the Leafs are out. I start it at the beginning of the season. This year though, I trimmed it up after New Year's!

I almost called it a night after the 2nd period. Figured I'd see how the team started the 3rd, just in case there was enough push back for it to be entertaining. Glad I did.

And here I thought they were winning because I wore my Marner jersey for the last 3 games...

Goals like that tell you luck is not on the Leafs? side tonight.

Most enjoyable to scan through the comments and pick out the best ones.

No offense intended to the poster whatsoever!!!!!!
