A couple bad shifts to start the 2nd and Bobrovsky regaining his V?zina winning form are the difference tonight.

The guys career has been over like six times already.  And here he is stealing another series.

Their 6 on 5 strategy was to not have Nylander or Matthews in shooting positions.  What the hell was that nonsense

Marner's shot has gotten better but he is not the guy you want firing.

Tavares misses on another chance. Guess I was wrong. Game over.

(Expletives here) Bobrovsky.

Leafs their own worst enemy after taking the 2-0 lead. The goalposts were their second worst enemy.

Now they have to go on the road. Luckily they are 3-0 on the road, we will see if they can continue that trend. This isn't insurmountable unless they let Bobo continue to beat them. Rangers won the first two on the road from Tampa in the semis last year and lost, so it can be done.

Disappointed tonight with the result and some of the lazy giveaways, but overall a very good effort. Effort won't win a series alone, though. Need some of those 4 posts to go in next game.

Boo. And I just found out my neighbor is one of those anti-fans that revels in the Leafs losing. I mean if people didn't enjoy me feeling bad and try to make me feel even worse about it, these losses would be way easier to take.

Well, that's it.  Don't see us coming back now.  Just a terrible result with "home ice advantage."
Really? I think they can. Jersey got dominated the 1st 2 games at home and won the series. Leads are 3-0 on the road.

There will be plenty of Leafs fans in Sunrise but I am just looking at the odds, and they are not good.

Your neighbor is a s88t and you should tell him to wank off.

When your stats ain?t producing and the other goalie is better this is the result. Round 1 was in our favor round 2 so far Florida.

They're the type of people that complain about the Leafs getting too much attention, while giving them more attention than lots of Leaf fans do.

Time for 11-7 and hopefully Knies is ok. Having 2 days off is a good thing.

Exactly.  I might draw in Gustafsson too.
That's why I said 11-7 lol. Gio is looking old and I'd rather have Gus' offence when we need a push.

Not so sure about going 11-7 but would be in favour of bringing Gustafsson into the fold and booting Gio to the press box. Gustafsson would give PP a differnet look and Gio had been struggling to move the puck all playoffs with the up tempo  pace of play and should not be on the ice as a lone PP dman anyway, it is just too much of a liability counting on him vs speedy Pk forwards.

Reality is, it's always going to be tricky to go on a deep playoff run when you're sort of sifting through the discount bins for your goaltending. The last few years  the Leafs have been particularly unlucky in that they've run into goalies destined for the HHOF in the first round. This year they finally managed to clear that hurdle but, realistically, if consensus around the league was that Samsonov is the kind of goalie the Leafs need him to be, they wouldn't have been able to sign him for what they signed him for.

There's still time for him to prove that wrong and this series could easily flip if the Leafs top lines start producing but they've made things very tough on themselves now.

One game at a time. Don't tell me the odds. Florida has also won 5 straight playoff games

You're right, Samsonov has had flashes of brilliance, but like Freddie he's prone to letting one in and so far he's let one in in each game.
