Funny how the game is perceived sometimes. I just saw him make 3 high skill zone transition plays in his last shift.

Mistakes cost us last game and he made a ton of bad mistakes and turnovers in his own zone this period, regardless of whether he made skilled plays or not. Even Elliot acknowledged he looked nervous that period.
 
Whenever Marner is off, his centre gets dragged down by virtue of how much he handles the puck. Might make the swap halfway through the second if he?s still fighting the puck. Of course he could still net 3 pts on secondaries just by existing.
 
Holy hell.  Better start to the second period my ass.  We get a penalty too so thanks for that...too line has stunk
