All depends on how he is utilized. I agree with you that he's probably a year + away from being NHL ready today. Whether that year is spent in the AHL or KHL this year and AHL next year I don't really care. I just want to make sure he isn't getting jerked around. If he's playing 14 minutes a night in the KHL I think he is right where he needs to be. If he's getting benched so the team can dress 8 defensemen, that's a problem.
