If you see PP time but only 10, 20 seconds a game that?s not what I?m talking about.
Again, you keep bringing this up but all it's doing is showing that you are A) frantically trying to shift the goalposts in a desperate attempt to make your point here seem less ridiculous and B) that you really have problems understanding what people are saying in response to you. When I referred to Parayko, Chara, McDonagh, etc...I specifically referred to what they'd done throughout their careers, not just in this year. I noted that these guys, all of whom have offensive talent, had years where they got regular PP time and couldn't hit 40 points. This of course was back when your statement was that 40 points was easy for any defenseman getting any PP time and I can quote you saying that again for you if you're confused.
But now that you've shifted things again to "It's easy for guys who get 3+ minutes of PP time a night" then I think it should be abundantly clear to even you that the guys who get that kind of PP time don't get it randomly. They get it because even among the incredibly talented player group in the NHL they have elite offensive skills. That's how they get 40+ points, their skills. Players like Makar and Hughes are exceptionally talented rookies and their production in no way diminishes the act of reaching 40+ points any more than Matthews scoring 40 goals as a rookie makes scoring 25 or 30 goals an easy mark to hit.
I know a lot of your arguments rely on thinking that complicated things are easy(Just hit him! Just stop McDavid! Just stand in front of Ovechkin!) but the reality is that none of what these guys do is easy and they're all exceptionally talented.
