I think it's _only_ funny if you spell it the correct way.

In a quasi-related matter, Jim Hughson still pronounces it "semen" in NHL 12.

There have definitely been some flaccid jokes in here. Some of this board's members certainly prefer more turgid language. The lack of subtlety has certainly prevented this thread from reaching an appropriate climax.

I would like to ask Nutman why he appears to be so interested in the Leafs acquiring Alex Semin when there is already a "war for the Top 6".

In my opinion, there's no chance the Leafs are interested, much like when Zherdev or, more recently, Radulov were available.  And to rehash a thoroughly beaten topic, it's not because of Burke's disdain for Russian players.  If Pavel Datsyuk was available, I'm sure you'd see Burke and the Leafs at the front of the line.
