Bisping embarrassed Mayhem.  There is no excuse for a lack of conditioning like that.

In other news, I called every fight while watching with my wife and told her how Bisping was going to beat Mayhem.  Might start placing some money down on the fights. :-P

I was disappointed in Miller. He is a much better fighter than what he showed last night. I've seen fight more physically demanding and still be fighting at a decent pace in the third. I wonder what happened here...bad weight cut? wrong weight class? Not sure.

If one thing Bisping will likely never be ready for Silva. He was losing the first round to a much inferior striker.

Yeah I know Bisping had a little trouble cutting weight.  I think Mayhem just gets caught up in the circus of it all.  He reminds me of a Jake Shields, awesome ground guy that isn't quite well rounded enough to make a big impact in the UFC.

Bisping is an interesting guy, has only lost to exceptional fighters at least one of which was fighting as an undersized 205'er and only decisively once, when Hendo did what he does.

I don't think he is championship class but he is in the tier of guys just below that, really strong fighters who will provide a challenge for anyone, just not good enough to dominate a division.

Bisping missed weight by only a 1/4 pound and he did make it on the 2nd try. Miller has gone 5 rounds before, notably against Jake Shields in Strikeforce, but he looked so out of place in the fight this weekend. Bisping is being considered by some for a future shot at Spider Silva, but he'll need to do much better than he did in the 1st round of this fight.

Looking forward to this weekend's PPV at the ACC. I'll take Bones Jones with a 3rd round submission against the Dragon. I'll also take Big Nog over Mir and Tito over Little Nog.

Great card this weekend and apparantly it hasn't sold out yet.
I was really looking forward to watching Rory McDonald fight this weekend but that damn injury bug ruined that. Rory looks to be the next GSP with more  of a nose for finishing.

I'm a huge Lyoto fan but my feet are grounded and I know there's a very slim chance of him defeating Jones but I can still cheer. ;) ;) ;)

GSP blown acl will be out for 10 mos. Now Condit vs Diaz for the interim welterweight title on Feb 4th in Las Vegas!!

That's bad news on the GSP front. Diaz was pretty much the last fight on the table for him at 170. Now I'm hoping that Condit kicks Diaz all over the cage. Optimistic I know.

Looking over this weekend's card, I think Bocek-Lentz or Hominick-Korean Zombie could be sleeper picks for Fight of the Night. It will be interesting to see how Hominick looks in his 1st fight since the death of his coach and brother-in-law Shawn Thompkins.

A skit from the MMA Awards called Dear Wandy, and yes it's as funny as it sounds.

I was surprised by all the booing for Jon Jones at the weigh-ins.

I am going with Jones - expecting a great fight.

I really hope Big Nog shuts up FRank Mir, but I have my doubts. Mir is too big and Nog is perhaps getting too old.

Not sure what to think of the Tito fight. I still can't cheer for him no matter what he does to try and reclaim his image.

Pretty jacked up about tonight's card. Glad that this time I do not have to choose between fights and hockey.

Hoping to see Jones, big Nog, little Nog, and Hominick winning.

The whole Leafs team and coaching staff at UFC 140. Also a bunch of Raptors.

There would only be two sounds if I was fighting tonight. Me being hit. And me hitting the canvas.

PKessel81Phil Kessel
Ufc tonight should be sweet.

It's not too often that MMA proves too gruesome for me but Mir snapping that arm came pretty close.

That's the second time that Mir has snapped an arm. This one tonight looked very ugly and I would not be suprised if that is it for Big Nog.

I cannot stand Mir. That arm did not have to break, but he wants it that way. He was pissed at Nog from the comments after the last fight and once he had that kamura locked in he went as hard as he could.

Jon Jones fight was everything I was hoping for.    ;D

After the the third replay I said to my self "OK YOU CAN STOP IT NOW". That was the most cringe worthy moment I've seen in MMA.

Great night of fights.

Toronto in the city of retirement...

Couture and most likely Nog/Ortiz after tonight.
