Seriously? Pull from the sides, not the bottom and they tend to open fairly cleanly.

The bag is no problem. The box on the other hand? Not so much. One box out of oh, 5 maybe I'm actually able to close again properly.

Use the handle on your spoon like a letter opener.

Wait. There are people out there that don't do that?

Yup. HULK. SMASH!

I use my hand as a letter opener and basically just rip the top off. Then I get mad and just pour it into a plastic container from the 70's

You know the kind:

Yeah, the wife does that for the kid's cereal. It's a great idea.

Edit: and nothing to due with rage busta... It's just that perhaps I'm not the most delicate guy in the world.

Was shoveling on the weekend and felt a twinge in my back that made mobility an issue.  Went to a chiropractor initially on Monday and again yesterday.  After yesterday's appointment, I felt quite good and noticed a lot of improvement.  Yet this morning I woke up stiff as a board and am walking extremely gingerly because of it.

These were the first two times I've ever gone to a chiropractor.  Is this normal?

Yes, as the chiropractor corrects your back, you will get stiff....Give it time. After a few more appointments it'll start feeling better every day.

what happens is your body has learned to compensate for the problems in your back. As your back is corrected, your body is still trying to work it in the opposite direction.

Sears Canada cuts 1,600 jobs

Sears Canada Inc. says it has cut 283 jobs at warehouses across much of the country as the department store chain moves ahead with cost reductions.

The retailer also says it will outsource its three customer call centres in Toronto, Montreal and Belleville, Ont., a decision that will eliminate 1,345 associate jobs over the next nine months.

No surprise.  The US has been giving them huge tax breaks because they claim poverty.  Then they give their CEOs raises and the circle turns again.

I don't think they can get much cheaper then what they're paying Belleville workers unless their outsourcers are off-shore.

:-(

so I get a message telling me that my BudLight can be programmed now for the Canadian Men's (or women's, but I don't care?) Olympic hockey team goals same as it currently does for the Leafs' goals???.and I follow the instructions and it does all the blinking and flashing it's supposed to do. And then it tells me it couldn't connect and didn't update :(

why can't they make these damn things more simple  >:(

I have to stop listening to the song I have on my cell while being on the computer, everytime I do it, I actually react as if it's ringing.

Within 18 months, our monthly Rogers bill (TV, cable, Internet) has gone up $50.  A couple magazines here, upgrade in modem there, as well as built-in rise in fees, and we are paying an additional $600 per year.  >:(

Call them and tell them you are going to drop a bunch of services or are going to leave all together. They will put you on to the retentions dept. who will apply all kinds of discounts.

Been there done that works every time.

Just make sure you sound sincere when you are explaining it to them.

I am in the midst of Rogers negotiations.
Current shared cell phone plan (3 phones), 2GB shared data, 500 minutes, blah bla blah. I wanted more data. It started out looking like it was goin to cost me $35 a month more for what I wanted by as it stands today I will be $5 less per month with 6GB data for each phone and pretty much everything else I had before. Got a little bit of a discount also because my company has a corporate plan with them but really it was due to negotiation.

My best advice is to be vague so they transfer you around alot, then tell them you are getting ticked off at all of the transfering - that was the breaking point where they just said they could offer a 20% discount off my entire bill.

Good luck. Be patient, be friendly to them and sooner or later they will do something for you.
