You get it in one of the most memorable quests I've played in a game. I love that the game is so varied - it's not just fetch quests, you actually get involved in the politics of Skyrim a lot more and the quests can be quirky and interesting. I love the way they introduce the Dark Brotherhood as well. I'm liking Skyrim the more I play it, it's great.
I'm in the midst of respecing my warrior to more of a battlemage. I think hand to hand is little weak, while magic tends to be stronger.
25 hours into the game and I haven't even played a single main quest aside from the mandatory beginning. The quests are extremely varied and interesting.
Battlemage is the way to go. I usually use dual cast on some of the super tough enemies (centurions and the like) as it allows me to keep distance and dual cast while I back pedal. Stoneflesh helps a lot when tanking in hand to hand.
I also use archery in sneak mode to peel away at an enemy when I get a chance.
I've been trying to build myself up as a warrior, so far. But it seems like all the 1 handed weapons I've found are fairly weak. Anything big (bear, frost troll) can murder me pretty good. I even have a follower helping me out. It can get tough, quick.
Regular swords are fairly weak early on but properly enchanted they can be devastating. Go to Azura's Shrine and complete its quest, it will make keeping enchanted weapons fully charged much easier.

All zombie games seem to be action/shooter style like Left 4 Dead.

Isn't that more or less what Fallout is though? Post-apocalyptic, fighting mutants and ghouls and the like.

Probably the closest thing, and I bet people have made zombie apocalypse mods for it.
A survival horror type Fallout set in present day, where resources are scarce, and you can't just shoot your way through everything. I imagine searching abandoned houses for supplies while carrying little more than a crowbar, and hoping there aren't any zombies waiting for your around the next corner.
I guess what I'm saying is that I want to play The Walking Dead.
Well now, this is just delightful. Obsidian ? fresh off the at times (read: Old World Blues) hysterical Fallout: New Vegas ? is teaming up with Trey Parker and Matt Stone to create a ?full-scale? South Park RPG. This is no quick social or mobile cash-in, either. It?s a bonafide big-budget console/PC production backed by THQ.
On top of that, Parker and Stone are both writing and performing dialog, according to Game Informer. In other words, expect some of the most profane, probably amazing dialog options ever conceived. The game?s set for release ?sometime in 2012,? but expect more info as soon as the new Game Informer issue hits.
Looks like you'll be able to soon! http://ps3.ign.com/articles/118/1183364p1.htmlSucker Punch said:I guess what I'm saying is that I want to play The Walking Dead.

(The need to push the stick in for speed burst is the killer, makes it impossible to use a light touch) I want to try All Star and/or some of the other modes but I don't think my poor thumb or controller can handle any higher intensity.
Oh well I just got into Skyrim anyways, that should be fun and a bit less stressful than OT and shootouts with a bleeding thumb.
