Update: Hat-trick for Tlusty so far against Washington - 17 goals on the season.

22 23 now. A nice example of how being patient with prospects can pay off.

He is almost identical development wise to Freddy Modin, it took him also quite a long time to develop, but when he finally did, he was quite a force. Tlusty seems to be doing exactly the same. Good for him, I liked him as a pick.

Agreed. I think 'the naked gun' had some maturity issues to deal with early on, but has since settled in nicely.

Not putting up numbers to start this season - 4 points in 14 games.  Perhaps last season was an anomaly for him, or maybe there's something else at play since I don't watch Carolina games ever.  Either way, disappointing start to this season.

Update: Only 6 points in his next 23 games, 2 of which came two games ago.  So his scoring has got even worse.  Just 10 points in 37 games this season.  Tlusty is seeing about 4:00 less per game than last season, about 1:00 less PP time per game, and presumably playing with worse players (think he saw time with E. Staal last season).

Not looking good for him to come anywhere close to last season's production.
