Where are they now?

Komi was sent to the Marlies because of his inconsistent play for years, and they needed a "Stay At Home" Dman that could be relied on, as well for the playoffs as previously mentioned. He was exactly that on a 3rd line for the Leafs, so a 4th seemed fair at that point.

A 4th may have been a bit high, but that's kind of the price you pay at the trade deadline. It's not like it sunk us. And with both Fraser and Kostka getting hurt in the playoffs we needed the depth anyway.

I actually liked O'Bryne as a bottom pairing guy. I think he had a rough stretch of games here and there but in the playoffs he was rather solid. He was matched up against Jagr a lot of the time and he contained him well. I'm not sure our other 2nd and 3rd pairing defencemen could have done that. I would have signed him over Fraser if given the chance.

Colborne first star last night. 7 points in 22 games. Not exactly tearing it up but how McLaren got a guranteed roster spot over this guy is still beyond imagination.

Considering the situation the Leafs have been and are in recently with their three (now two) centres out of commission, Colborne could have helped.

Then again, Holland and Smith have been capable replacements.

Trevor Smith - 23 yrs old - 3G - 3A in 13gp

Joe Colborne - 23 yrs old - 3G- - 4A in 22gp

Smith has certainly replaced him quite nicely. That being said, Orr and McLaren are redundant.

Smith is a bit older, 28 I think.

HaHa, yup my bad..I saw the number 23 and thought it said age beside it....Just his jersey number..Whoops.

Leafs can't score meanwhile Grabovski and MacArthur have combined for 38 points in 50 games so far.  Clarkson/Raymond/Bolland combined have 32 in 55.

Mac with his 7th tonight giving him 19 pts on the season. Grabbo with the same goals and assist numbers (7G, 12A).

It's looking like Bozak/Clarkson was a bad idea over Mac/Grabbo from a purely pts/$ standpoint.

Don't get me wrong, I like what Clarkson brings to the team, but from a Cap/performance standpoint it's not even close. Ouch.
