So if he maintains a PPG pace that puts him in pretty solid company for under 19 players in the Swedish league: Link
Yeah, but is he polite with the media?

Supposedly after their last loss he told Swedish report Joonas Siegelsson: "Komma bort fr?n mig."

He's allowed to say that because he doesn't make 8M kroner.  Yet.

This didn't get much news but Gauthier was named captain of QMJHL for their Super Series games.  Was injured to start the season and has 5 points in 8 games.  Supposedly has been unreal in the face-off circle as well, if you fancy that sort of thing.

Good he is making a comeback. I have liked what I have seen from him especially as a defensive forward. Could be a very good shutdown player and we need a faceoff specialist in a very big way.  We have been missing that since Steckel was here.

I'm glad he's getting some recognition, as I find he tends to be a very quiet player on the ice; not very flashy, easy to miss. I still have my fingers crossed for him.

That's awesome for him, one addition though as it appears even his junior coach has written him off offensively somewhat. Gauthier has been knocked off his teams top two PP units according to Corey Pronman.

Where'd you read that?

He does project him for the World Jr. team still though.

I have little doubt that Gauthier will play a few games in the NHL but he's 19 years old going on 20.  He should be dominating the QMJHL offensively regardless of where his lack of offensive skills lie.

He just came back from a cracked rib so will give him a bit of a pass on not lighting up the first 8 games.  Will definitely look to him picking it up as the season goes on though.

It was on Twitter during one of the games this week(usually the only time I'm on their heavily) and he mentioned about him being dominant defensively and at the dot and then mentioned the PP stuff and if I recall correctly he actually posted the guys being used ahead of him and was somewhat complimentary.

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect William Nylander reportedly sustained a head injury during a game in Sweden on Saturday.

The news was first reported by James Mirtle of The Globe and Mail, followed by Swedish reporter Uffe Bodin of HockeySverige.se.

Nylander was accidentally hit in the head by a skate and may have suffered a concussion, according to Bodin.
