Apparently the rumour is that Draisatl is being sent back to jr?

One wonders why the hell he wasn't made available for the World Juniors if they were going to send him back? Those brains in Edmonton!

He's only being sent back to push back his UFA status a season. He should have been sent back before he hit 10 games. It was pretty clear he wasn't ready yet.

Wow, NSH vs. LA game with a crazy finish. 3 late goals in 1:27 by LA to tie the game at 6-6. The 6th one with about 30 seconds left in the game. They were down 5-1 at one point.

Currently watching Carolina v Boston. There's 17 minutes gone and Boston have just managed their first shot.

I didn't realise they were as bad as the Leafs

Rask and Bergeron should keep them competitive, but they've lost a ton of talent in recent years and haven't really developed any new ones.

Good.

They're also aging and have had some injury issues. They're not the "Big Bad Bruins" anymore.

Got a chance to watch the Bruins-Lightning game just now with the NESN feed and the announcers really are something else. A linesman steps in to stop Chara from beating on Cedric Paquette, someone he's got 8 inches and 60 pounds on and who he'd already suckered earlier in the game and these announcers are hollering "HE'S A BUZZKILL! HE'S A BUZZKILLER!" at the official. Paquette didn't even have his gloves off.

David Pastrnak looks pretty good though.

It's almost like it's part of the linesman's job to make sure physical mismatches like that don't come to fruition.

The funniest thing about it is that earlier in the night some nobody on the Lightning's 4th line had taken a similar sort of run at Krejci and the same announcers reacted like someone had shot the pope. Honestly, they literally yelled "He's a nobody! And he's going after a star! Someone who's lead the playoffs in scoring two of the last three years!"

Which aside from being not technically true was pretty funny.

Yeah. The NESN guys are hilariously transparently Bruins homers.

Yeah those NESN announcers are horrible homers! I was watching when Paquette got sucker-punched by Chara earlier and they couldn't believe it was the Bruins getting the penalty. As they are saying this the camera is on Paquette in a crumpled heap on the ice after taking a Chara gloved hand sucker-punch to the face!  ::)

I'm getting to watch a little bit of Coyotes-Sharks right now on the Coyotes broadcast and did you guys know that tickets are available for upcoming Coyotes games? They sure are. We can take advantage of their K-98 promotion and get two lower bowl tickets and two t-shirts for 98 dollars. Or, if we're a large group, the Coyotes offer special discounts to groups to 10 or more. Heck, we can even buy tickets with our phones via text message.

I mean, I don't mean to rub it in but it's pretty relentless. They have Tyson Nash reading promos for tickets during stoppages, their commercials are for their tickets, they have on screen graphics next to the Fox Box giving us the number to buy tickets...I don't know how long the Coyotes are for Arizona.
