2018-2019 Toronto Marlies Thread: Hail to the Champions...and Onwards!

Jesper Lindgren has joined the Marlies. He's fresh off a championship in Finland. Wonder if he gets some games next round. Based off Jeff Veillette's data Duszak seemed to struggle a little.
Who knows? Let's remember this kid is straight out of college hockey so it's a big jump for him. In the game I saw him play, he coughed it up a couple of times but I liked his game. He has a good shot and is tough for a smallish player. He simply doesn't back down in front of his net. Maybe Lindgren replaces Hollowell?? Again, who knows but I'm sure he'll get a look.

Yeah I'm not trying to knock the guy he's just starting his professional career so I wasn't even really expecting him to get playing time in the playoffs. But Lindgren's been playing pro for a few years now so I'd imagine he's better suited to jump in.

Also I just realized that Lindgren's team beat Teemu Kivihalme's team in the Finnish league's championship this season. Funny coincidence, especially since the two could be defence partners with the Marlies next season. Scott Wheeler has an article in the Athletic today that noted both had monster possession numbers over there.

Any word if this will be on TSN or will it just be the home games, like last series.

The Marlies' twitter account says it'll be streamed live on the Maple Leafs app. TSN has the Raptors game going on.

Why are the AHL playoffs so spread out? Didn't the Marlies finish their last series like a month ago? Seems that way anyway
