Finn goalie isn't good today. And Ray making a great point. Why the Finns need to put a guy in the box to serve a misconduct while the offender is getting stitched is beyond unfair to the Finns. Shortens the bench unnecessarily especially because the misconduct won't be over until sometime during the 2nd period

That was one of the worst botched calls I've ever seen.

I dont see it as any worse than the 5 minutes Foote got last game.

It's a bad call for sure but a guy got cut open by a high stick, team should be on a 4min PP but Finns are down to 10 forwards because they put a guy in the box for shooting the puck late (apparently Sandin did that and no call in their game) and the other is getting stitched from the high stick. There's no defensible reason for any of that, and that's the reason why it's a worse blown call. You could at least talk yourself into thinking the call on Foote wasn't the worst.

Player may have not heard whistle, late shot penalty is discretionary as mentioned earlier Sandin had similar shot and no call. Moronic to put another player in the box when player is already in dressing room. Agree to disagree.

Yeah, hopefully Sweden taking them to overtime burned some energy out of them.
