I wouldn't say he got walked. Goalie should have stopped that one.

I'm not blaming Sandin. The guy went right around him because Sandin thought he had forward support and he was already out of gas hoping to change. He got walked regardless of the goalie making a save or not.
 
Sweden had no business winning this game but was only in it thanks to Alnefelt (goalie) and the powerplay clicking (Sandin doing nearly everything).
 
And a testament to the development program on the Marlies. There were some higher picks in the game that he has definitely surpassed.

That's very true. Russia was by far the better team. Too bad for Sandin tho, getting 4 points and losing. Don't know what it is with the Swedes but they just don't play well when it counts. So weird. Glad Sandin had a good tourney though.

I mean I want Canada to win but I also want the game called fairly. I've seen a few plays by Canada I thought were penalties already.
 
Finn goalie isn't good today. And Ray making a great point. Why the Finns need to put a guy in the box to serve a misconduct while the offender is getting stitched is beyond unfair to the Finns. Shortens the bench unnecessarily especially because the misconduct won't be over until sometime during the 2nd period

That was one of the worst botched calls I've ever seen.

I didn't see that game [emoji846]
 
I could also see a Ref seeing that play as an accidental high stick caused by the stick being pushed up from a late illegal shot. Hence the call.
