This is nonsensical.

Please elaborate on why you strongly disagree? I have no issue seeing the other side of it.

I'm sorry, did you just say you forgot Clark? In a discussion of players who have contributed more than Matthews?
Why, because he's punched people?

Get to where? And what does he need to do to get there? It seems to me you're conflating team success with his abilities as a player. Because he more-or-less owns every important Leafs' goal-scoring record. But he's not in the upper echelon? I just can't square that

I can say for certainty that every single Leafs player in the history of the team had a heart.Bullfrog said:berserker said:Less skilled players have shown more

I'm glad we're using objective qualifications.

He just won the Hart and the Lindsay; the Hart hasn't been taken by a Leaf in almost 70 years. He's already won 5 major trophies; before him the last Leaf to win a major trophy was, who ... Mogilny with the Lady Byng? Which is at best a minor major.
Joe said:Garbage journalism. MacKinnon is eligible to be a UFA a whole season before Matthews. But you know, he?s not with the leafs so not worth an article.

This is the garbage we?re going to have to endure until he signs. If he doesn?t sign an extension the second he?s eligible I think the Canadian sports media conglomerate will collapse in on itself.
