Any word how long David and Jonas will be out?

Neither are at practice today, and we'll probably get more of an update after it finishes.

Both Gunnarsson and Clarkson had an off ice work and are improving. Both are day-to-day.

Just a bruise for Clarkson. Carlyle hopeful he'll improve enough to play Tuesday.

Trevor Smith (hand) on the ice before Leafs morning skate; out since Dec. 17

First time he's been on the ice since the injury. Hard to know what it means since it's his hand that's the problem, but he's still at least a week away from returning I would imagine.

Even when he is ready, do you really think he knocks Orr out.

Apparently Bolland will wear a special boot.

I'm just going to think of it as a magic boot

If he clicks the heels of his skates together and says the magic chant, can we all go back in time to when we were still 10-4?

Dreger "I was told late last week that the Leafs are hopeful Bolland can play a game or two before the Olympic break"

Dreger "he hasn't put his foot in a skate yet. There is a lot of faith being placed in this special boot"

That second part kind of worries me. Also, if Bolland is only going to play a game or two before the break I would much rather just have him come back after the Olympics.
