Payback's a bitch. Don't agree with the highstick to the face but giving something back after Dillon knocked out the Thrill, no issue.

Sportsnet needs to lose hockey rights.  This panel is awful

I switch to another channel during these ?intermissions??

When the rights come up in 2025, TSN will be getting them back
but not at the stupid price SN paid for them.

Jen's point is that the hockey culture that demands an eye for eye is not just morally wrong but unappealing to new potential fans.  The league is at fault for not applying appropriate penalties to things like repeated cross-checks to somebody's back.

That looked more unfortunate to me than anything. Matthews getting bowled over yesterday was arguably worse.

Ray Ferraro has always said call the penalties. Players retaliating isn't the issue.

Sure it is.  They do what they do because the league doesn't make player safety a priority.

Just so we are clear now...we ignored a dozen penalties on Anaheim getting dominated and now we have a powerplay advantage to Anaheim in the game so far.  That's absurd nonsense

Eh, that's the right call.

I disagree.  He hit him on the shoulder.  Guys get hit square in the numbers and get 2 minutes.  Michikov is also on the ice less than 1 minute after the hit.

I get it was borderline but Myuntkov was in a really vulnerable area.
