Game 1 - Habs @ Leafs - Thursday Oct 6th 2011 - 19:00 EST - 2-0 Win

Oy, first game of the season and we're already at the "Kessel is a bum" phase?

If you haven't liked him up to now, you're never gonna like him. Personally, I think he's a good goal scorer and that's fine by me. Anything else he provides is gravy. He is what he is.

Now, let's get back to the game - Go Leafs Go!

Honestly,

Can we get off the debate team for one thread and just let our team play? They haven't even played one game and we're already suspecting our players playing up to their standards. If we see things we can criticize, fine. But we've seen nothing in the regular season thus far. I think the team deserves to be looked at with fresh eyes. While I don't think they should be free of criticism, I think we should at the very least reserve our judgement until AFTER we see a few shifts. I don't want to get into any further debate on this.

Now everyone should relax, enjoy and watch rather than criticize, condemn and complain. I think some of you know the rest of the quote.

here is a stream for the game http://www.p2pstreams.nt and click on ice hockey andthe leafs/habs game is on there for people in the uk.

Had to sign up again for Gamecenter Live.  So far when I go to the Gamecenter Live page it's still telling me I need to sign up for Gamecenter Live.  I've got the confirmation email, hope this gets sorted out soon.

Or, you know, you could always enjoy the team in your own way, engage in the discussions you want to and not nag at people for doing the same in their own way.

Either's good.

Or, you know, I can express my annoyance at bickering and chastising of the Leafs before the first puck even drops.

That's good too.

You should really have a word with the people with the gun to your head, forcing you to read things you're not interested in. It sounds like a difficult way to surf a message board.

Remember the days when "CBC is tone deaf in their hockey presentation" was just a clever metaphor?
