To think about it in another way, if you goalie lets in an average of 3 and a half goals a game, then your offense will have to average 4 goals a game to win consistently.  Unless your a top offensive team, that isn't going to happen.

Or to look at it another way, Gus has a sub 3.00 GAA and a + .900 SV% in his last four games so he's been good recently.

With everything else going well you would think that the Leafs would have a ton of time to work on the PP and yet.... they still can't do it.

To be a baiter you have to go against the norm in order to anger the mob.

lc9, I don't dislike you and, outside of your being entirely wrong and unreasonable about Gus, I have no quarrel with you specifically so ask yourself this carefully, do you really want to say I'm wrong about the definition of a word or my usage of it?

You know, I don't really see the need.  The game has captured my attention now.

And the Leafs PK continues to disappoint.

On a side note, that was kind of Stamkos-y from Seguin, wasn't it?

More Darcy Tucker-y.

Stamkos puts them a mm under the crossbar when it looks like there's nowhere to shoot.

I don't know, the way I remember it Tucker was always about placement. That was a rocket.
