Interesting that we're blaming Reimer for the loss when Fleury has a far worse save percentage. Maybe instead we should be thankinge him for the point.

Amen, brah.

Didn't see the game.  Bad goals from Reimer?

I thought 2 3 and 4 were bad from a goaltender standpoint

Forth goal was kicked in by Fraser.

Through Reimer's legs.

What a joke to have bozak shoot.  And of course Neal scores.  Why the hell would bozak go?

Reimer struggles.

50% career on SO. Pretty good reason.

On just 8 career attempts though. And he went 1 for 3 last season. I don't think that's a good enough reason to call his name.

Bozak has also been pretty good on in-game breakaways too from what I can tell.

Bottom line though is you are going to win some shootouts and lose some. I dont think there is much strategy or science a coach can employ to guarantee a win.

Through Reimer's legs.

And? Should goalies start stopping weird deflections where your player kicks the puck at you?

2nd and 3rd goal should of never happened. I'll forgive the 4th.

You know what he means, yea technically the goalies should stop them, it is their job, but unless you're incredibly lucky, you won't stop all deflected shots or a good portion on them.

I understand that goalies sometimes let in bad goals.

You're kidding right.

A puck, thrown back in front, goes off the goalie's own dman's foot and in, and the goalie is somehow at fault?

I mean, when I watched the game live, I thought it was a horrendous goal where Reimer left the post early and it went off his own foot and in. But after watching the goal again, it's clear that Reimer stood no chance on stopping that other than getting lucky.

No, I'm not kidding at all. I don't care if the puck deflected off an eagle soaring majestically across the ice. It was a slow moving puck along the ice and he was already down. Get your stick down and stop it.

Speaking of which, Reimer is beyond useless with his stick. Many butterfly goalies are but Reimer is a special case.

Well, I suppose communicating with you is pretty useless and you've proven your hockey sense as being as low as it can be so I'll move on.

To the thread where everyone agrees with you, no doubt.

You mean when like when posters get mad and throw temper tantrums, storm out, claiming to be done following this team only to be back less that 40 minutes later, slightly longer than when I would "run away" from home when I was a kid.

Yup. Also like when forum mods troll. Common occurrence for you, I might add.

So its okay for you to call someone else's behaviour childish, but its trolling if someone else calls your behaviour childish, got it.

If that's what you took from what I wrote, then sure. I thought I was saying that its trolling for someone to jump into a conversation they aren't involved in and post something that is likely to invoke an emotional response from its intended target. So not only is it trolling, it's also childish. Aren't we all just in this little boat of childishness together?
