That's quite a swim by Scrivens but it stayed out

Ok, I know I am the biggest Scrivens fanboy out there but geez guys that was the first mention of him all thread and not in a good way.  He has been solid but wait let me guess it is only because the defense showed up tonight. Like I have said before guy gets no respect around here.

Probably because that was the first really tough chance Pittsburgh's had.

Not true.  Scrivens is playing the angles well and directing rebounds to non-dangerous areas.  Reimer, these days, is making making easy saves look really hard by overplaying the puck and letting easy rebounds where there shouldn't be any.  That's the difference between them right now.

The defence is playing better tonight but it wasn't generally the odd-man rushes that were resulting in goals the last few games again Reimer.

Wait, what was not true?  I don't think Pittsburgh had any really dangerous opportunities before that one.  Not trying to minimize Scrivens at all, it's just what I thought up to that point.

As I see it, he's made a couple great saves by cutting down angles really well and defusing some pretty good chances.  I just thought your comment was a little disingenuous.

No, but it is typical Strangelove,  nobody really bashes Scrivens, they just don't give him props or they discredit his abilities.  Get used to it.

You thought it was insincere?

On the contrary, it was quite ingenious.

Vis-a-vis.  CONCORDANTLY.

25 year olds are cougars now? lol

A woman of just about any age can be referred to as such because the operative quality that makes a woman "a cougar" is her age in relation to the man in her life. First time I ever heard the term was as a 15 year old from another 15 year old, referring to a 19 year old.
