Game 60. Devs versus Leavs. Criticality.

Two bad goals. He has to have that save after the Leafs battled back. What a killer that is.

Just a slow weak shot, no screen, no traffic.

Terrible.

Yeah one D actually prevents a Devil player from screening Jonas there so he has a chance to save and he let's it trickle in.  So frustrating.

I was all in favor of going with this tandem for this season, and I don't regret it.  Although it's hard to separate the crappy D from the crappy goaltending, the main point of going with Reimer/Gus is to see which of them, if either, is truly #1 material.  It's beginning to look like neither.

You know I spent my Sunday arguing with TMLfan on why Gus should be in goal.  I could go on and say RW snatched away his confidence by failing to stick with him or Gus just needs to shed some rust as he hasn't been playing but you know what, I am just tired.  Tired of everything about this team.

Mirtle posted awhile back about (re: Reimer) most goalies see a drop off in sv% in year 2 that was consistent with that of Reimer's.

Gus is probably the most fragile goalie mentally I have ever seen in that case.

It's a broken record with the Leafs now. We've been looking for a #1 goalie since Belfour.

Time for Burke to bring in another sieve. He is great with goaltenders.

Hey, he did a pretty good job finding Jonas Hiller! And then he bailed on Anaheim to go to Toronto...

Clearly, awesome goalies make him uncomfortable.

I've beaten the Cory Schneider drum before I'll keep beating it.

Cory has those 2 goals tonight.  No question in my mind.
