Well... just because you played on a AHL all star team (the Knights) it doesn't automatically make you a NHLer. I am pretty sure there are other prospects out there that don't come from the Knights. Hunter seems fiercely loyal to a fault?KadriFan said:Hunter likes him. That's enough for me...

But I guess it's not as stark as I had it in my head.

Marner has played very little center in junior. He's almost exclusively been a RW in London- that's all he played last season. Between him and Brown, I actually think we have our 1st and 2nd line RW's for the foreseeable future.
Agreed that beyond that the rest are just prospects and aren't sure things. I do think Kapanen will be an NHLer next year or the year after though. He will fit on the 3rd line at worse, and will battle Brown for 2nd line minutes. Any of the others I listed working out would be gravy.

Either way adding someone like this, for this cost, is a no brainer to me.

There is a London Knights connection, for what it's worth.
I'm at a loss as to what that means.

Seth Griffith claimed off waivers by #FlaPanthers.
With injuries, he should find much more opportunity there than he got with #leafs.

Good luck Seth.
