Lightning @ Leafs - Jan. 28th, 7:00pm - TSN, TSN 1050

On that Kadri goal, did anybody catch that crowd shot of the guy eating snacks out of a box? It looked like a box of crackers or cereal. That's pretty scrappy.

In fairness if that St Louis stock hadn't tipped it Bozak had a completely empty net to put it in too. But yes, Gunnar had a wide open 5hole to aim for also

One of those plays where it's easy to say afterwards. If he tries 5-hole and is stopped we'd all say "Bozak was wide open." Especially for a guy not used to those plays just a quick decision

And Kadri wow.

Naw, he just deked the defender and got Bishop to go down.  He should have gone ahead and shot it.  Oh well.

I can't ever remember seeing that called let alone twice against the Leafs in one season.

After watching the slow-mo replay, it actually looks like Gunnarsson's stick gets in there before the puck crosses the line, so, the play would have still been live.

I get the idea that the play might have technically been dead, but had Gunnarsson elbowed or high sticked the Tampa player there would anybody find it weird it got called a penalty?
