Only 5 games will Olympic break. Would be nice to win at least 4 out of 5. Canucks are the only tough opponent.

I mean, sure, if you ignore the game against the team that has controlled play so tonight. Also, if you overlook the fact that Ottawa has played very well recently. Oh, and the fact that the Leafs aren't playing well enough to look at any team as not being a tough opponent.

Both Panthers and Senators below Leafs in standings. Winnable for sure. Lightening not so much.

Well, sure, but you also have the remember the only thing separating the Leafs from the Sens right now is shootout wins. In terms of the quality of the team, they're really about even. As for Florida . . . well, they're a team the Leafs have struggle against over the past few seasons. They've only won 5 of their last 12 games against the Panthers. Right now, every team is a tough opponent for the Leafs, regardless of where they sit in the standings.

Ottawa has lost 4 of 5 and has also given up a 2 goal lead tonight.

So, they have. Nevertheless, I stand by my overall view - all teams are tough opponents for the Leafs right now.

The Lightening must be pinching themselves for selecting Hedman over Duchene in that '09 draft. Imagine Duchene, St Loius and Stamkos!

When did we last score a late 3rd period goal to tie or win a game? Any chance of it tonight?

They're probably pretty happy with Hedman right now.

He is okay...hardly noticeable..no presence. Stay at home guy. Very quiet.
