Goalie development just doesn't follow the same rules as the other positions. I think it is plausible that Scrivens continues to evolve over the next few years.
Agreed with that. Looking back at some old stats, Tim Thomas at 25 split the season between Hamilton and Sweden. He was 6-8 with a 3.23 GAA for the Hamilton Bulldogs and 8-3-3 with a 2.23 GAA in Sweden. Think he's doing pretty good for a guy who developed late. Scrivens could be one of those late bloomers. At worst, he'll continue to be a very good option for the Marlies.
