I have a counterfeit Komisarek jersey I bought before he played a game with the team. I'm embarrassed to wear it, but I did anyways to the home opener. I overheard a couple comments from other fans, which is not a surprise. The surprise was that I saw another person wearing one.

See, this is why I've always been afraid to get a name/number on the back of a jersey of anyone other than a legend like Sundin.

I'm almost bought a Nolan jersey back in the day because they were on sale, but got cheap and didn't buy it (more like my wife saying how many f'n jerseys do you want)... but you know want, I'd have no issue wearing a Nolan jersey today...

I have a Sundin jersey, a Nordiques Sundin jersey (that's my favourite) and a Kings Gretzky jersey... apparently that's my limit according to my spouse.

At some point in the past year Kadri wrote on twitter that he was sticking with 43. Said that he wants to make it his own. Who knows in 10 years we might have kids coming up wanting to wear 43 for Kadri.

43 is for kamikaze guys who bust the wedge on the kickoff.

Or defensive players of the year who splatter RB's into mush:

Or one of the greatest closers of all-time:

Or even goofy looking mongoloids who marry a Kardashian:

Wait, what was my point?

I haven't got a new jersey since my Sundin jersey.  I can't do it for this reason.  The choices lately seem to be JVR, Reimer, Kadri, Grabovski.

I'm not a Phaneuf or Kessel jersey kind of guy.  I hope JVR and Kadri are with the club long-term, and both are very young.

Nolan isn't a bad jersey.  Some bad jerseys I've seen are O'neil, Versteeg, Leetch.

If you want a guy traded go out and buy his jersey. That just seems to be the way it goes. This by someone who finally decided to buy a Kaberle jersey about 2 months before he was dealt. >:(

C'mon, you only had yourself to blame for this.  There was talk of trading Kaberle the entire year before he was dealt.  The writing was on the wall for that one.

You had over a decade of Kaberle being a Leaf to get that jersey, and you decide to buy it a few months before a deadline that just about everyone knew he'd be traded by?

There had been talk of trading Kaberle since 2001

I don't think you can top the Jeff Farkas jersey mentioned earlier.

I should get a Kyle Wanvig jersey, and put a fax machine where the numbers would go.  Then mail it to Bill Watters.

I want to get a jersey that says Seinfeld and the number 4

LOL, Hayes just did 15 minutes of filler waiting for Kadri to show up on the phone, still waiting.

You could be whoever probably bought the Luongo Leafs jersey that was in a store awhile back.

Let me guess, he's proposing that every player on the Leafs get bought out except Kadri?  Or is Kadri getting bought out now too?
