Oilers vs. Maple Leafs - Mar. 1st, 8:00pm - SN, Fan 590

The team was apparently all in on something other than playing the Oilers.  Good thing is there haven't been many of these games this year but this one is a stinker with very few positives to take away.

Holl hasn't been good but he's my MoM for the hit on McDavid at this point

Sad part is Oilers problem is defence. They would be fighting for Bedard without #97. Think Leaf stars would be able to exploit that but haven';t shown up. After one of their best games in Seattle disappointing tonight.

The secret to Edmonton's new defence is they removed Barrie from the team. (But yeah, also Leafs not putting a full effort tonight)

Welcome!

I want to see them really push to get one on the PP to start the period and then let 'er rip.  Either lose 10-2 or make a game of it.  The effort tonight is just embarrassing.

That works!

Quick whistle saves Samsonov.

Whoa, that was brutal for the Oilers.

If the leafs had lost a goal on a call like that, people around here would lose their minds.
