Preseason GDT3: Leafs @ Flyers W4-2

So what was the issue? Nodl took a shot on Scrivens after the play was called?

Is there a way to take off that "WARNING" if people post during the time that you're writing?

How was Franson last night? Gunnarson looking pretty good tonight.

Nobody was noteworthy yesterday. You couldn't get a good handle on how good anybody was.

It really is bizarre that the NHL, a multi-billion dollar hockey league, has so much trouble with their ice. It's like if NBA stadiums had rusty hoops with the nets torn off.

Completely agree. It's bananas, especially given the length of the contracts handed out these days.

Or that the hoops broke every time there was a dunk. Or had warped flooring.

Someone is going to end up injuring themselves.

Yeah I ponied up the $40.  I don't have cable either and compared to that it's a hell of a bargain even though I know how to get (much crappier) streams for free.

What's with the last 7 games?  I guess games that TSN or sportsnet didn't give the streaming rights to, maybe games that they plan on streaming themselves?

CBC games are beauty on OTA HD.

For some reason, I think it was the TSN national broadcasts that Leafs TV Online didn't get last year, but I could be way off on that...

I need to get CBC OTA, big time.  Their streams suck by comparison to Leafs TV Online.

I think its just bad planning. It's like going in and out of the fridge in a power failure... Just keep the damn doors shut! Multi-billion dollar hockey league? Yes. Multi-billion dollar brains? Not so much.

I know we are stacked on defence and I know he might need some defensive seasoning, but it's pretty hard to think of Gardiner not in our top six this year.  His wheels are elite and allow him to do things on the ice I'd say less than 10% of dman in this league can do.

Wowwaa! Gardiner skating all over the place!  ;D

Call me stupid, but I think he's too good for the AHL. Can you imagine what he's going to look like when he is in mid-season form? The guy is awesome with the puck. He is going to score all kinds of points in the A' this season.

He's going to skate circle around everyone. It looked like he was just having a good time skating around everyone, not like he even kicked it into his highest gear! I don't think I've ever seen a better skater. (Too young for Gartner).
