Wowwaa! Gardiner skating all over the place!  ;D

Call me stupid, but I think he's too good for the AHL. Can you imagine what he's going to look like when he is in mid-season form? The guy is awesome with the puck. He is going to score all kinds of points in the A' this season.

He's going to skate circle around everyone. It looked like he was just having a good time skating around everyone, not like he even kicked it into his highest gear! I don't think I've ever seen a better skater. (Too young for Gartner).

I was just thinking to myself, how do you justify someone like Komisarek on the bottom pairing with Gardiner playing the way he is.  I'd much rather have a young up-and-coming player like Gardiner on our bottom pairing than Komisarek.

Really. I mean Komisarek would be jealous of a pylon playing with Gardiner. The pylon looks better!

I've really liked D'Amigo's game tonight.

He seems to have more jump in his stride this year. He appears to be playing with more passion, maybe there was too much hype on him last season.

Definitely goes to the A though. Its kind of interesting seeing how many kids we have trying out for jobs: Kadri, Frattin, Colborne, D'Amigo, Gardiner. McKegg doesn't look bad, and I'm actually impressed by Mikus as well.

He's another guy who lost some weight this summer, might account for increased speed too.

Yeah, no doubt he's going to the AHL, but it will be nice that he can play a full year there and not have to worry about going back to junior. He looks like he can handle the professional game now. I think it was the right call sending him back last year.

Oh did he, I didn't hear that. It makes sense though, I just noticed his skating was quicker and he was more aggressive on the puck.

They stream all 51 of those games + pre-season.  Between Leafs TV Online (51) and CBC (24), you'll get 75 regular season games legally.

I had the service last year - well worth it considering I don't spend $60+ per month on cable.

Yeah I ponied up the $40.  I don't have cable either and compared to that it's a hell of a bargain even though I know how to get (much crappier) streams for free.

What's with the last 7 games?  I guess games that TSN or sportsnet didn't give the streaming rights to, maybe games that they plan on streaming themselves?

CBC games are beauty on OTA HD.

Can us folks in the states subscribe to this?  Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.

Weird play.  You'd think the refs would go upstairs. Anyway we'll see if it was close on the replay.

The D looks really slow this period. Komi looking like garbage on that unnecessary pass back to Gardiner. Bozie and Army still looking good.

Time for McKegg, Hamilton and Holzer to go back to the juniors/ahl.

Yeah. I think McKegg has some flashes, but he's not ready at all. I think someone said it best, he looks like where Nazem was two years ago.

Yup I agree, although I suspect he'll get another look between two better wingers simply due to the demands of the schedule.  Personally the sooner they get down to below thirty players the better.

Great blocker save from Goose.

Dupuis and Boyce both looked pretty good tonight. Don't know who I'd rather have. Although I think I'd rather get rid of Orr and maybe go with Boyce - Dupuis - Brown
