Not a great PP to end the period, either. No shots. They were in it until the first Boston shot of the 2nd period, I thought, then it got out of control with another couple of undisciplined penalties, the PK continuing to struggle and a very disorganized PP at the end.

One of the reasons I stopped watching the regular seasons was to not be so invested come playoffs but that doesn?t work. Still too invested.

They have to play their sharpest to overcome the deficiencies on defense and in goal.  When they don't, in a tough building against a better team in the playoffs, you get results like this.

Looks like same old same old. Leaf defense and goaltending not good enough, Leaf superstars shut down by opposing defense and goaltender. They are really missing Nylander and McMann, but even with them in the lineup...not sure it's enough to overcome the huge differences on the back end.
