This may be the end of Dubas.  It certainly has to be of Keefe, at a minimum.
 
Craig Button had it right the other day after game 3. Listening to Marner post game makes me wanna puke. Can't admit for what you get paid you haven't sucked and like Craig said not only him and it's not a one off. They haven't shown up in the playoffs for 4-5 years. Time for a change and like I said if there isn't any with the core I will remove myself from this site and make a few of you happy. Soft bunch who excel in the regular season but different animal in the playoffs and some of these guys don't have what it takes. We have wasted a great opportunity the last few years. Overhaul is needed and hopefully comes.

Changes always happen regardless if you win or not. One thing is, we have a goalie.
 
Pretty cool how you can just snow plow a defender out of the way so your teammate has a free shooting lane

Marner and Matthews aren't going anywhere.  Tavares too.  Nylander doesn't deserve to, but they need a better defense so if the right defenseman became available I could see it.

Nobody can say they didn't compete or show real heart here. Tough loss, tough series. Ran into hot goaltending.

We'll get 'em next year.
 
That was a really, really good game.  We kind of got screwed but really Bobrovsky is the hero.

I think the likeliest move is a new coach.  Not sure if Dubas will on board with that so he may go too.

How can you possibly question their toughness in this series?  They went toe to toe.  They stuffed Tkachuk pretty much.  They had all kinds of big hits.  Toughness wasn't the problem.  Scoring, or lack thereof, absolutely.

I wouldn't bet on that. If management is smart they need to ship one of them off. Or both. Team has more talent than a lot of teams but what has that got us. SFA. You look at other teams, less talent, more grit and then advance further than us. It doesn't take a team of talent to win it takes players who will do anything to win. These conceded fks can't even admit when they sucked. We've mortgaged a lot of the future and we really aren't any further than prior years. Matthews may be gone after next year and maybe for nothing so send him off get a boatload for him and move on. Marner and his attitude can follow.
 
Two goals a game over the past 7 games? That's pathetic anyway you look at it. This team gets goalied too much. It's time to move on from this core.

Correct, Bobrovsky was the difference, we need a goalie that's a fact, hopefully Woll grows into a game changer.

It's an entirely fact-free analysis. How does a lack of toughness or playoff aptitude explain why O'Reilly, a Conn Smythe winner, wasn't able to get anything going either?

It's just the exact same thing said over and over and over by someone who never lets reality intrude on their complaining.
