From my view, at the risk of sounding too technical, he did a bunch of stuff and then he scored.

Watch the approach to the puck, how he doesn't play it until it's in his hip pocket/passing zone and has his body between the puck and defender, and just one touches a no-looker to the F1 at the back post. A forecheck puck recovery pass primary assist in one move.

I am a bit suspicious of MHL/KHL goaltending since the offensive tendencies of the league favour potshots from afar, but Akhtyamov doesn't look shabby here.
