Oh sweet mother...

The team's roster lists two Canadians, Ramzi Abid and Riley Armstrong, brother of Toronto Maple Leafs forward Colby Armstrong.

Where are you reading this? It's not on Wiki. Riley played in the DEL last year.

Riley Armstrong played for Astana Barys for 9 games last year.

That is disgusting journalistic integrity on behalf of CBC. He's not even listed on the roster on the KHL Lokomotiv website.

I won't believe it until I hear confirmation. He's not on the team website at all.

Stefan Liv is reported to have passed...

Dmitry Chesnokov:
Lokomotiv official tells Sovetsky Sport "everyone from the main roster was on the plane + 4 players from the youth team."

According to russian TV players from several countries died, incl Sweden (Liv), Slovakia (Demitra), Belarussia (Salei), Latvia (Skrastins) Czech Republic (Marek, Vasicek, Rachunek) and of course many, many Russians... Devastating news... RIP

I normally don't get choked up for tragedies but I'm having trouble with this one...
