SCF: Florida Panthers vs. Edmonton Oilers

Andy said:
Edmonton has had five coaches since the time Babcock started here in 2015. For awhile they looked liked a mess, and some of their signings (Koskinen! Campbell!) looked downright egregious. Goes to show how quickly it can all turn and, potentially, what a new coach can do, I guess. Granted it took five, but Im not sure why we were so hesitant to move away from Keefe.

Yeah all the Leafs need is the greatest player in 30 years and we're solid

Very impressive run, Oilers...from a business perspective, they maxed out their home games for the season!

It?s hard to be fussed over the best player in the league having a chance to win the cup.

Kinda feel bad for Maurice though, this will be his 3rd kick at the can.

I don't feel bad for Maurice yet, the Panthers have a history of coming back from behind as well. If the Oilers score a quick 2 goals in the first they better be very careful lol.

I don't feel bad for him period.  One of the things about Maurice is he's not a coach who does well with adjustments.  That's on him for not changing things up.  The Oilers figured out a way to stop the Panthers forecheck and it's noticeable how much slower they look without a quick transition game.

I know it's petty, and really does not impact our lives at all, but to have the Leafs as the ONLY team to come back in a Stanley Cup final from down 0-3 to win the Cup is something the fanbase can hold onto. Yes it was 1942, well before any of us were born, but dammit, that's our stat.  Secretly (not secretly) pulling for the Panthers tonight.

Good luck to the Oilers tonight. It would be nice to get the cup back north of the border. The state of FLD does not need another Stanley Cup parade.

Tkachuk just said tonight will be the loudest arena he will ever play in... I forgot he didn't show up to Game 6!

Just want to hammer home that nearly every goal this series has been a rush chance or a redirect/indirect play.
