What this really says to me - and I know it's been repeated often on here - is that the Leafs are going to land a really good player at #5.

Unless they trade down. Then they can get two ok players!

I'd prefer 3 mediocre players.

4 below average players!

5 Schenns!  :P

Slow week, eh guys?

Grigorenko is going to be the biggest wild card of this draft.  Seeing him ranked twice now at #9.

I'd love it if he dropped to 5. That'd be my ideal outcome.
I hope he's not another Antropov.

He could be another Grigorenko, didn't Detroit have one that didn't work out?

I was thinking more like Cherepanov, who was rated top 5 but went 17th to the Rangers.

Galchenyuk would be more like Grigorenko, who had a big injury (can't remember what.. was back or knees, possibly due to a car accident) that impacted his position, and all teams avoided him until Detroit took the risk.  He didn't pan out but boy oh boy was he crazy talented and if he had, they would have had yet another star player on their hands.

It doesn't look as if teams will pass on Galchenyuk past #5.

Personally, I think I'll defer to Morrison on this, because it seems like there are a few good picks at 5. I've heard Forsberg, Galchenyuk, Murray and Grigorenko, depending on what happens without a move up or down by Burke.

I like the sounds of targeting a center either way.

Yeah and what did he ever do? BUST!
Cherepanov died in Chekhov, Russia on October 13, 2008 after collapsing on the bench during a Kontinental Hockey League game, he was only 19.....
