World Cup 2014

Was that ball made out of starving Brazilian children's tears?

I don't think starving children are physically capable of crying and producing tears. It might be made out of the malnourished carcasses though - I'll have to check.

So the world cup logo looks like a face palm? Very fitting.

The face palm just above your post is very fitting as a response to this.  He pretty much says throughout the video he picks teams that have his players or "where his heart is" instead of actually providing analysis or good reason for his picks.

One wonders why they ever asked him??!!

I'm going to go with Argentina winning world Cup.. I'd love to see the U.S. advance a round (since I am from the states) but don't see that happening.. After U.S. I am pulling for England and Germany.. looking forward to the tournament though..

Homer pick I know but I got Holland v Argentina final with an Oranje victory in my bracket. It all starts tomorrow at 3PM vs Spain. Hup Holland!

Horrible call yesterday in Game 1 on Croatia.. Typical stuff though

makes you wonder...especially when there was already rioting in Brazil..could they really afford for Brazil not to win the opener against croatia?  Like maybe that didn't influence the decision making by the refs, but some fifa officials had to at least be thinking about it.  I guess I find it hard to put my trust in an organization that just seems so corrupt from the top.

Mexico beats Camaroon 1-0..Puring rain, 3 goals scored that were called back because of off sides.. Strange... Spain/Netherelands up next in a rematch of the 2010 Cup final. Should be a beauty..

3-1 Holland now, nice to see direct football be so effective against that mundane tiki taki pish the Spanish try to bore you to sleep with.

It's interesting because, as someone who's largely ignorant of the finer points of the game, I've thought Spain had been the more dynamic team and the Netherlands just landed some pretty incredible counter punches.

I think for large parts of the first half you where correct, the Dutch played the way you have to against a team like this, you bend, but you don't break.

It's how Celtic beat Barcelona in the Champions League.

4-1!!!!!!
