Continue to be impressed with the U.S. squad.  They should give Germany and Portugal a good workout.

Won't be easy. Got a shot against Portugal. If we can beat them pretty good chance of moving on.. Germany may be out of their class though..No matter what it was nice to get at least one WC win this year..

Technically they still have a chance, but it's VERY slim.  They need to win their final game to go to 3 points, and then hope for help from other teams in the group, and go through on goal differential.  That would involve Italy beating Costa Rica, Italy beating Uruguay and England beating Costa Rica.

That's true, plus Italy has done more for me in terms of success than the Leafs ever have already.  I've seen 2 World Cup wins in my lifetime and 0 Stanley Cup finals appearances.
