A bunch of teams have played themselves back into the playoff chase (either through their own play or the struggles of the 6-8 teams.
The Islanders and Tampa Bay are both 6 points back of the Leafs with a game in hand. Pheonix when from out of the playoffs to 7th by going 8-1-1 in their last 10. Playoff spots are going to go down to the wire in both conferences.
