Oh nice I get to view every single one of his points this season better settle in for a long... and it's over.

For the record, starting next season I'll forget about his draft position and the fact that he's like 28 years old or whatever and just hope that he can eventually provide the Leafs with some very effective bottom-6 minutes. But I'm not quite ready to turn over that leaf yet.

Looks like I have to change the way his name is anglicized now.

Can somebody remind me what Hunter was smoking when he picked Korshkov in the 2nd round?

This is actually perfect. I've never said a bad thing about Egor Korshkov. I wish him the best of luck as a Leaf.

Marlies home games are on TSN 2 starting tonight.
Any streaming options?
Here's a site I'm using...just click on the Marlie game.

Sandin is playing both the left and right side. Rosen left the game with an injury. Marlies with 3 pp goals, leading 4-2 late in the 2nd.

Liljegren and Sandin are the real deals. I can see both being on the Leafs next year. Sandin doesn't look 18, so poised with the puck and plays smart. Liljegren reminds me of Rielly, always jumping up in the play. Bracco will def get a good look to. Marlies win 5-2 and only allow 16 shots. Bracco with 4 ats, Moore with 2g, 1 ast, Sandin 2ast. Lots of kids to like on that team.

Holy shit. It never ceases to amaze me how many goons are in the A. Jesus, I'd rather have hockey with mostly no hitting than that.

I agree with your enthusiasm, but, Moore is 24, so I think he's past the kid stage.  ;)

I didn't catch the whole game but I was impressed by how Sandin specifically looked. Looks like a good skater and slick passer. Definitely well suited to today's game. Liljegren reminds me a bit of Gardiner in that he can use his edges and fake outs to get out of danger. Hasn't put up the points we thought he would though.

Pierre Engvall, in case you missed it, is being groomed this season to play centre (accelerated due to necessity).

He played shutdown minutes on Gauthier's wing last year after making the jump across the pond at the end of the season. If you're not familiar with him, he's Gauthier sized, with an exponentially better shot, AND skates faster than Connor Brown.

I'm not convinced that he'd be the 4C of my dreams but he's cheap and might be better than the Goat so yeah why not.

I think he's 3rd line LW after the deadline next season, and can be a spare C there on out.

I was at the game last night, and I was thoroughly impressed by Sandin.  While I think Liljegren has more of the physical tools (looks like a faster skater in my eyes, and looks bigger even if they're both listed as 6'0), Sandin is so smart on the ice, and his hockey smarts are through the roof.  It seems like he's full aware of everything happening around him - he broke up at least 2 breakaway passes by being in the right place at the right time.  Even Hollowell looked good in his minutes, but I feel like he still needs some seasoning.

Also, Cleveland plays some goon hockey.  It wasn't even that they were down and gooning it up - they started it when they were up 2-1!

My favourite part of the evening though was in the last 3 minutes, Clevland pulling the goalie on the PP for a 6-4, and the Marlies icing the puck 4 or 5 times and each of them missing the net.  We wanted to see an empty goal *so* bad and started chanting "one more time!  one more time!"
