I know we haven't signed Marner yet but I believe it will happen. I am excited about this roster. If Ceci doesn't work out we'll rid him and rent someone at the deadline. This is a fantastic team let's get this season started!

With Naz gone and the rest of his third line, it's time for first-line minutes for the two #1 lines: Auston and JT up to 22 minutes a game. Even though most of their core is very young, everyone's getting their money now and it's time to ride 'em. If Babs is unwilling shift towards that and then with same playoff result, I predict he's done.

It's closer to 10. 9.7 or so. But as mentioned the Leafs could go with a 22 man roster and have 10.4

Not that they want to use is but without doing anything, the Leafs actually have around 12.1 to protect themselves from an offersheet, because Hyman and Dermott will be on LTIR to start the season. Dermott's probably doesn't help much because it's doubtful the Leafs are carrying 8 D men anyway so 1 guy was getting sent down anyway.

I was really worried coming out of July 1st that this team would have no one to rag on (No Marleau, Zaitsev, Hainsey, Gardiner, Brown!!), and Willy would get needlessly castigated again upon his first turnover. Alas, a scapegoat has arrived to draw our ire.
