Their article on Keefe and the coaching staff is, as usual, thorough and even-handed ? I really appreciate that.

Reading it, and especially the decline in the PP during the playoffs each of the last 3 years, makes me really question whether Keefe is the right guy to get this group to break through.  His weak point seems to be making adjustments, and it really comes out in a playoff series.  I think it's fair to say he's been the second-best coach in all 3 of his kicks at the can.
 
These guys are good, and sometimes very good. We have good players, good coaches, a good GM, and good ownership group. I don't miss the days of Nonis, JFJ, etc. They are obviously imperfect like the other 30 teams. As a die hard Leaf fan I like how our team is setup. I'd rather have continuity with the front office than making major changes every other year.

blah blah don't ready into early camp lines and all that but Kerfoot lining up at C is probably a little noteworthy. Those lines could indicate that Kampf is being pushed down to the 4C spot.

Seriously though, after an entire summer off (which is long since the Leafs were eliminated in May), Muzzin is already in discomfort when they haven't done anything yet?  This guy won't make it through half the season at this rate.
