With the way the media has been, I thought it was light hearted. Don't understand why some took it so seriously, Matthews didn't.

The right move and quite frankly was long overdue.
Tavares has always looked stoic and quiet on the bench and never had the ability to go on the ice and do something to get the team fired up.
