The kids have no heart. Trade them all. Coaching and management can go too.

It?s an embarrassment for them ? someone significant won?t be in Toronto next year.Guilt Trip said:not embarrassing for me. Shanny and Dubas are going nowhere. This is on the playersBermudaBudsFan said:It really is an embarrassment. I would start with terminating Shanahan and move on from there.

Psychological is sometimes more powerful than physical. If they don't have the fortitude then who cares how much skill they have?bustaheims said:This team just absolutely wilts under pressure. It?s quite extraordinary.
Gotta change something, just not sure what. This feels like a psychological issue rather than a talent issue.

If they don?t make some major changes with this core I don?t know what to say. Fukn losers. Thank god I stopped watching early in the series.
But what exactly do you want them to do? Which one do you want them to trade, and how?
Assuming they lose...the only core piece who should be considered would be Marner, but it would have to be a really good deal. I think maybe you give this group one more year, tweaking around the edges. Replace slow/unproductive players like Thornton and Simmonds with younger, quicker ones. Bring back Spezza, maybe Galchenyuk. Re-sign Hyman only if it is a deal that fits in, we can't mortgage the future to keep him. He's not going to age well and appears to already have lost a step. And hope like heck a couple of younger players (Robertson maybe) are ready to step in and play a regular role.
Thoughtful reply and I agree with so much of what you say but i?ll throw it out there....in trading a superstar (current anger aside) when has the team trading the superstar ever came out ahead? Can?t think of one but people here will likely come up with some examples
Bruins traded Thorton, and then 4 short years later, they won the cup.

You know, if anybody was wondering.
Weak? That was literally textbook interference.wnc096 said:Derk said:Finally. Though if that was the first period and it was tied that wouldn't have been called.
Another weak call. But you take it
