Nothing against Reimer, but he better start playing like a #1 soon if Wilson is going to keep starting him like one. Terrific ES save % or not, he hasn't really proved to be a better option than Gus yet.
Can you even imagine goaltending like this?
Goaltending GP GS Min W L OTL EGA GA GAA SA SV SV% SO

Tim Thomas 22 21 1244 15 5 0 3 38 1.83 663 625 .940 4

Henrik Lundqvist 23 23 1390 12 7 4 3 48 2.07 706 658 .930 2

Trust me those goalie numbers wouldn't look like that behind this team.
Both times we've played the Rangers they've given up a lot of chances against. Those teams give up (well maybe not Boston, but they have been one of the best GF/GA for years now) lots of chances too, but their team defense looks better because they have elite goaltending to bail them out.
Unless you were to watch all 82 games and break it down, there's no way to definitively just say their goaltenders would be better or worse under our team. That's why someone like Lundqvist is an elite goaltender - and if we're able to be in playoff contention with pretty average goaltending, I've got to assume with an elite goaltender we'd be quite a bit higher.
